Platza (ex Here Be Friends) can be accessed with no credentials, using anonymous accounts provided by default. We encourage users to secure their account with email and passwords. We store this information securely and encrypted.
We log the IP and identification information of the Platza app for debugging and tracking purposes.
Platza posts are publicly available in the area where they were created. The content of the posts as well as their location are available to the people nearby.
We take privacy very seriously. We do our best to ensure fair use of the app, detect fake and abusive use. At no moment is a user's location disclosed to any other user of the Platza app. While the location of Platza posts is public by design, the location of users themselves as well as other private information such as personal email are protected.
